Terms and conditions for claims and warranties

  • For new delivered equipment, the warranty is 12 months from the date of delivery from Siljum Mekan AB.
  • For spare parts and replacement parts, the warranty is 3 months from the date of delivery from Siljum Mekan AB.
  • For parts repaired during the warranty period, the remaining warranty period of the original part applies.
  • The guarantee is counted from the date of delivery to the customer, however, a maximum of 24 months from delivery to distributers.
  • Our warranty does not cover cases in which the product has been substantially changed or been damaged through improper use.
  • The warranty does not cover wear parts such as hoses, gaskets and wear edges of various types.
  • Travel and labour costs are generally not reimbursed unless a written agreement has been reached between the purchaser and Siljum Mekan AB.
  • Consumed oils, bolts, nuts and wear edges in connection with the warranty, service or repair are not reimbursed, nor is shipping, packaging or transportation costs.
  • Personal injury, property damage, damage to other parties, direct or indirect costs or missed invoicing are not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty does not apply to faults caused by inadequate maintenance, overloading, modifications without our consent or to faults arising from external effects. Furthermore, the warranty assumes that repairs are carried out by authorised service providers and that only original spare parts are used.
